Great walking shoes; jury's out on running
For walking, these shoes are amazing. I LOVE and thank Topo for the wide toe box and overall anatomically correct design. Today; I wore them on an intermediate Colorado trail, because I forgot the trail needs slightly more intense sneakers. And it highlighted problems with this sneaker and reinfor...

Great toe box & design, but poor craftsmanship
Like other reviewers, just a short time into owning these shoes (2 months with extremely light wear, maybe a dozen walks and one run), the rubber tip has started to come unglued from the shoe. I was really excited about these because I *love* the wide toe box. Hokas are great for my arches, but no...

Amazing for wide feet
I love these as walking shoes. My feet are very wide--2E-and these fit beautifully!

I finally have a comfortable pair of walking and work out shoes. I have wide feet, bunions, almost flat feet, high instep and occasionally plantar fasciitis. I can't begin to tell you how happy I am to be able to work out and not have my feet killing me by the end. I don't have shoes rubbing or pressing on my bunions. Thank you for making a wide width. Best shoes ever.
My Goldilocks Shoe
I've been running for 30 years, less now that I'm older and dealing with limiting Achilles tendinosis, but I need to run enough to keep doing triathlons. It used to be impossible to find a shoe with a wide enough toe box, enough of a heel to toe drop but not too much, and enough cushioning but not so much that I felt like running on marshmallows. Enter the Topo Ultrafly. This shoe checks all of my boxes, and it's "just right" for my feet and running needs.
Love the roomy toe box
Love these and the roomy toebox is great for my bunions. Very comfortable. Will be purchasing more shoes from topo.
Great for HIIT!!
I actually use these for my boot camp HIIT, strength, and speed/agility classes and LOVE them! I have had several foot issues, due to sports and dance. I have exposed to nerves, but your nets, numbness in my feet, the list goes on. These are by far the most wonderful shoes I have ever worn for a workout. Every part of my foot feels secure, properly cushioned, and even supports my incredibly high arch. My feet don't slip when I'm going side to side and they look really awesome too!
Love my Topos ^_^

Comments about Ultrafly 4
I love the toebox on Topos and these are no exception - they are lightweight, breathable, and comfy, a great everyday shoe. I have used them for a LOT of walking (including multiple 12 mile days on vacation) and stayed comfortable all day. I have used them for a little running, but not enough to speak to that - but I am really happy and love the way they look as well (might get a second pair ^_^).
Insanely comfortable running shoe
I prefer a minimalistic shoe with a little cushioning. These strike the right balance. I've had them for about 2 mos and they are still in great shape. I use them on dirt and paved roads.
Finally, a toe box that is roomy enough for my toes!

I wear my Topos for walking. My ingrown nails have gotten so much better since I started wearing Topos. My toes have room to straighten out in these shoes.

I love the room in the toe box and at the same time, the secure feel on my heel.
This is the 10th or so pair of shoes I've tried this year.
So I will start by saying that I am incredibly picky when it comes to shoes, and particularly running shoes. I returned probably 10 pairs of various brands over the past year for one issue for another. I have very wide feet, and even the wide sizes of most brands are too tight and make my toes go numb, which brought me to try Altras. Unfortunately, the zero drop did not work for me, and my already existing shin-splints got a lot worse. Topos are the perfect combo of wide, roomy toe box, and NOT zero drop. These were the only option for support, which I need, as I over-pronate, and were basically my last option to get a pair of running shoes that would work for me before my 15k race in September. They're great. I have no idea why more shoe brands aren't giving runners the option for toe-space, since that is the way that the human foot is naturally supposed to be in order to support your body and absorb impact, but, luckily the Topos shape is perfect. I don't think I'll ever try another running shoe brand, and I'll likely be buying a second pair in a different color to rotate between. Also excellent customer service. The 30-day test period gives runners the chance to actually run in shoes to see if they really work for them.
