I have a wide foot, this feels so good and natural on my feet. Feels natural.
I used to be an avid runner a few years ago, switched to focus on weightlifting- now back to running since January. I found this shoe looking for another brand I used to wear. I'd never heard of Topo.
I have not have any problems getting back into running wearing this shoe. I've used it on the road in the city, in rural areas, wet roads, slight iced roads, and on the treadmill. It seems to be holding well with nearly 2 months of use and close to 150 miles so far.
Tried and True Roadie
by Anna Solomon
The Fli-Lyte was the shoe that initially pulled me to Topo 4 years ago. I was hesitant with the new "trend" of wider shoes, but decided to test them out.
4 years later and I'm still hooked on this roadie. It's light and responsive, but still has a little cushion. The 3mm drop is just right for me to feel like I have a nice roll off the balls of my feet without TOO much support.
The second generation doesn't dry as quickly as the first generation Fli-Lyte did, which is a factor in wet Seattle, but it still has my heart and feet.
I'm now an ambassador for Topo Athletic, and this shoe is why. There was no break-in period, I can wear it sock-less and with bungee laces (great for triathlon), no rubbing on the heel, and transitions easily from the treadmill to the road.
Color is Obnoxious, But They Changed My Life
This shoe has literally changed my life. I am a dance instructor and having all kinds of foot-related issues. My box is wide, and I've never found a shoe that fits my foot and doesn't cause it to throb, burn, or go numb/tingle without slipping at the heel. My toes can move FREELY at all times, which is huge. The one downside is that the colors are OBNOXIOUS. My "real" job is in a office, and I am not comfortable meeting with clients while wearing salmon-colored shoes. I'd love to see some muted grays - no neon stripes or anything - for more everyday use for those of us who are just trying to get through the day without our feet yelling at us all day. Otherwise, I'm hooked.
My go-to road shoe
This is my go-to road shoe. It's light, it's durable and offers just enough cushion to go the extra mile. In my opinion, the fit is more true-to-size on the 2's than the original model. This shoe is very responsive, I can feel the ground underneath me and, at times, I swear it feels like I'm flying! The only thing that I dislike about the new model is that I always have a shoelace come untied - no matter how tightly I pull the double knot.

Half-marathon racing must have
by Y Lee
I own two pairs of Fli-Lyte 2 because I keep one fresh for half marathon racing and one for training. They are my favorite Topo model thus far because they are great for long-distance running, no-blister so far and the right amount of support for 13.1 miles. Most importantly, all the color choices are amazing!

Great fit & feel but poor durability
I've been a big fan of the Topo brand for a while - I've bought 8 pairs so far. I'm currently running in the fli-lyte, ST, and Runventure 2. This is my 2nd pair of the Fli-lyte-2. They fit my feet perfectly with the wide toe box and narrower mid-foot and heel, and the cushioning and flexibility is better on this version than the first. The only problem I have is that the out-sole is wearing way too fast. With only 110 miles I've had part of the black rubber tread wear thin and fall off. It would also be nice if they'd use a more durable rubber and extend it farther up the outside edge.
