100 miles so far, and no sign of stopping!

So far after 100 miles of rocky muddy PNW trails, I think Topo nailed these. I really enjoy these boots. I bought them to fill the gap between my waterproof Keen hiking boots, and my Altra Lone Peaks. First off; if you're used to Altras, you'll feel right at home in these. It has a wide toe box, w...

PAIN AND DISCOMFORT

I'm a trail runner, hiker, and backpacker that had high hopes this boot was the solution for all 3 activities....sadly, it's WAY OFF THE MARK. The FRONT TOP TOE BOX CREASE issue is consistent and true from all the negative reviews online. The front top toe box is a rigid material that crinkles down...

The price point was good and I thought why not get a new pair of boots for my Grand Canyon trip. I loved the orange(I love different) and I know wide toe base because of my many pairs of Altra's. I wore my new boots for all 20 miles of my hiking and my feet felt amazing. I know better about not breaking shoes in, but I had 0 time to hit the trail before my trip and these books meet my expectations and then some. I will be buying another pair in a different color soon.

I have never owned a pair of Trail shoes with More toe room! I have not had a blister on any toe since I started wearing my Topos. I am walking 60 to 70 miles per week to prepare for a long distance hiking adventure in 2021. I plan to wear Topos when I go.

Consistent Fit and Comfort Across All Their Shoe Models

I switched over to Topos after a long run on Hokas. The Topos are far more comfortable, and the fit is consistent with every model whether it is Topo's trail running shoe, or this new Trail Venture, something that is very frustrating with the Hokas or other shoe manufacturers. I use the Mountain Racer for my ultra distance running and biking events and the Trail Venture for when I'm training and exercising dogs at my kennel and training center. The fit and comfort is exactly the same no matter what model Topo shoe I lace up. This is extremely important to me. DON'T EVER CHANGE! Great shoes!

This shoe has a generous toe box which my feet demand. Although the light weight made for easier hikes, the show provides excellent support. I live this shoe!

I have super wide for foot and my toes need lots of space. The width of this boot was not as wide as the photos made it look. The Vibram sole is nice and wide but the shoe bed and uppers taper and that's where my foot had issues. These are stiffer and less cushioned than other light trail boots but the trade off would be durability. This boot looks very durable. I also bought the WP version which actually was a slightly better fit. After a 4 mile hike in them I realized I wouldn't be able to do long miles in these.but my feet are not 'normal' wide. The bottom of my feet were a bit sore as well so a insole for more cushioning would be needed. I gave them 5 stars because they are a very nice boot. Just not wide enough for my feet. I'm sticking to a different zero drop, foot shape brand That lacks durability. Comfort is king for me. Durability comes in second.
