Magnifly 4
Product Overview
Magnifly 4 delivers the ultimate zero drop comfort on the road. The secure and breathable upper features a new look and is now made of a recycled engineered mesh, equivalent to three 16 oz. plastic water bottles per pair. New lace stays keep the tongue secure over the foot. We upgraded the dual-density midsole with ZipFoam™ for increased response and compression resistance. The antimicrobial OrthoLite® footbed offers additional comfort directly underfoot. A sweeping toe rocker design aids in propulsion and a smooth transition of these zero drop men's shoes, while the widened 25 mm platform offers a smoother and even more comfortable ride. Strategically placed rubber on the outsole provides slip and abrasion resistance just where you need it.

First topo for road running
This are my second Topos, the first one are for trail (athletic MT-4), I am very pleased with my trail running shoes so decided to give a try and get some for road running, since my adidas Ultraboost are to narrow on my feet. Today I did an easy 5 miles on my new topos and it was pretty good. I thou...

I don't understand where this fits in the lineup.
I have ran in the magnifly since the OG. I really liked the 2s as they were snappy, and easily lasted more than 300 miles. I liked the zipfoam in the cyclone, so I figured I would give the 4s a shot. First, the good. The upper was very comfortable. The toe box was very roomy, and the heel provided ...

"It's as if this shoe was made exactly for you!"
"It's as if this shoe was made exactly for you" is what the running store sales rep had to say when I tried on the Magnify 4 for the first time. I have completed several runs in them since purchasing; so far so good! Other than some minor soreness on the bottoms of my big toes when breaking them in, the comfort has been fantastic. I have traditionally ran in minimal shoes but decided to give these a shot for my longer runs and glad I did. It had been several years since I last ran in a pair of Topo shoes, but happy I gave them another try. Now I am planning on getting a few other pairs of Topo shoes - a pair of Ultrafly, Specter, and another pair for the trails!
A real winner if you need cushioning
I'm a zero drop minimalist fan but due to some medical issues I need a more cushioned show nowadays. The magnify 4s fit the bill!! Lots of toe room and just the right cushioning throughout. Not too springy, not too stiff. Very happy with my purchase, I bought 2.
My third set
I've owned the Magnifly 2 and Magnifly 3, the Magnifly 4 is just as fantastic! I run on asphalt and on dirt/gravel trails. This shoe performs amazing as I am 6'2" and weigh 260lbs they provide enough cushion for a stable run and are not heavy at all at size 14. This is the heaviest I've been in my life and they still fit like a dream.
Amazing show, outrageously comfortable but why so ugly
LOVE these shoes but for the love of god who is choosing the colors??? Can we get an all black or something not so absolutely tacky??? Please send note to outdated stylist because this gayTM wants more relaxed color patterns. This shoe is absolutely perfect, amazingly comfortable, besides the fact that I feel like an ancient dad wearing them with these horrific colors. Please. PLEASE, give us an all black in the updated version of this show!!! Something without a white sole?!
First topo for road running

Today I did an easy 5 miles on my new topos and it was pretty good. I thought my feet were going to be moving from side to side but I did not happened. I cool down, did some errands (40 minutes) got home shower etc...and to my suprise my knees were not sore. Usually after 4 miles my knees start hurting and it take the whole day to calm down...but that never happend went i am tral running in my MT-4...only when I used my adidas , so the fact that I did not had any pain today is a huge victory for me. I am pretty happy with my purchase.
Best upper hands down!
The Magnafly 4 was the best upper on a shoe I've put in my feet. What a terrific shoe. I ended up with a issue with my right shoe and reached out to CS. Sam from CS was very helpful and went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied with the outcome. Don't sleep on this company or their shoes
Amazing!!
I have been running for years. I have tried every brand of shoes. Before these I was running in a zero drop shoe from another company. After running in these they are my favorite . Just the right amount of cushion and responsiveness. I am training for a half marathon. Love this shoe and am excited to try other models. Also awesome customer service!!
The 4 got it right!
I am a zero drop guy ( a runner since 1972) . The Magnifly 4 is a great upgrade from the previous 3 model. It must be the zipfoam but cushioning is not too soft nor tóo hard, well balanced. Have only had 3 runs (18 miles total in this shoe) but it is now cemented in my shoe cycle with Altra Rivera. Great job Topo!!

Close to perfect
First pair of Topos [long-time Altra user]. The Magnifly seems pretty great after first 3 runs. Does everything I want for a road shoe. LOVE the lacing system. Great balance between natural low profile flex, yet supportive. Grippy rubber outsole is much appreciated. Critiques: Couple mm long in length. Ankle cushioning is a little high, so it rubs a bit more than I like. Arch support is quite prominent for a low stack shoe; I prefer a slightly lower arch. Pretty great shoe.
It's a strong like
Great durability and good looking shoe. Came to Topo from Altra since Altra has progressively shied away from what made Altra great to begin with. In Topo I found a good ride with nice traction on the road. It's comfortable and roomy but not as flexible as Altra with a looooong break in period. My only gripe with the Magnifly is it needs to be more flexible.
