Simply A Great Boot

I have use a variety of Tops Trail shoes and hiked extensively in versions of the Ultraventure. This shoe has an equally good nimble feel but better cushioning and versatility. I had used my boot for many local hikes and had about 80 miles on them. I just returned from the Sierras in the John Muir W...

Immediately destroyed my Achilles tendons

Purchased this product 8 days ago from an official retailer. Immediately experienced achilles tendon pain in both feet. When removing the shoe, the pain is completely alleviated. I switched from Hoka Toa's, similar drop, similar cushion, similar support and only experienced general foot pain. Custo...

Not many miles yet, but super comfy out of the box. Love the roomy toe box. They also look fantastic! I mostly hike in desert environs, so WP shoes totally suck. Please don't stop making a non-WP boot! They are very hard to find and I hate swampy feet.

Just took them on a hike in Mammoth on the JMT and they performed awesome. Hiked through dirt, snow and a little water from run off. Only time I thought about my feet is when I was wondering why they were not hurting yet.

I have use a variety of Tops Trail shoes and hiked extensively in versions of the Ultraventure. This shoe has an equally good nimble feel but better cushioning and versatility. I had used my boot for many local hikes and had about 80 miles on them. I just returned from the Sierras in the John Muir Wildnerness Area and was impressed every more. Steep snow banks, unmarked ascents, stream crossing and some untimely postholing made me super happy to be wearing these. I have used many boots and trail runners through the years and these are among the best. Thank you Too

I ordered different styles, in size 11 and 11.5 as REI in west Hartford does not stock Topos to try on for size.

Very lightweight and comfortable, but not for wide feet

These look and feel amazing, but unfortunately they are for narrow and normal width feet only. I've tried on the widest version I could find: men's boot just 1/2 size smaller than my usual size in women's (so, a full size larger than recommended when switching from Topo women's to men's sizing) and it still was prohibitively narrow in the midfoot and a bit in the toes. After just 5 minutes of wearing them at home my feet felt uncomfortably compressed. Wide Topo sizes can not come soon enough.
