Best boots I've ever purchased!

I purchased these boots after I had a horrible experience with a previous boot. I had bought a Columbia boot for hiking and it was the worst experience ever. After 22 miles, my feet hurt so bad I was crying. My foot had blisters on every single toe and I could hardly walk. My foot was so cramped. I ...

Ankle to uncomfortable

I ordered a 7 then a 7.5. I usually wear anywhere from a 6 to a 7. This boot i wanted for the cushion but the shoe sizes didn't seem to fit and the ankles on both sizes seemed to rub on the wrong bones even with thicker socks. I will say its a lightweight boot consider how big it looks. I would not ...

Love the fit - PLEASE bring men's colors to women's shoes!

Submitted

My favorite shoes, for years. BUT - for the love of God, please give us the same colors as the men's shoes. The olive color and even the yellow's on the men's side is AMAZING but nope, women have to choose between a weird purple, a light blue, and an ugly blue-ish/green. When I get a new pair I run them through the mud right away, just to tone down the colors I'm stuck with.

I love Topo shoes so much and recommend this brand to all my friends and family, all who love them. These are my first Topo boots and I wasn't expecting to like them better than my shoes but wow, I do! I have a slightly wide toe box, narrow at the heel, and very high arch. These stay in place, keeping my toes from sliding forward and hitting the front of the shoe. I do like to size up a full size because of this. These boots are so cushioned it's like walking on air. I thought it might be an issue navigating rocks and roots (they kinda feel moon boot like) but honestly these are so grippy and sturdy that they are way better for any kind of terrain and saves your ankles. Don't forget to buy higher socks though. I also want to give a shout out to Body Glide blister balm, to anyone has blisters issues, Topos make a big difference but the Body Glide keeps my feet feeling 100% great by the end of hiking. If you have any foot pain after hiking, please do not hesitate to try topos!

The shoe laces don't always stay tied. Other than that everything is great. I love the color. The reason I bought them is because of the toe box. It is just right for my toes.

I bought these and wore them straight out the box. I have never had such a roomy toe box. My feet felt so great after a 6+ mile hike. Literally worth every single penny! 10/10 recommend! I can't wait to see how they hold up, but I am not doubting that they can't. These shoes have impressed me a lot already. The available color (in store) was the Coral/Blue. I wasn't crazy about it at all, I would of preferred the darker teal/green color. But I was searching for functionality, comfort, durability, and something that would take care of my feet while I explore on foot for miles. So far, this boot is exactly what I have been looking for! The grip/traction is phenomenal as well, which was another big deciding factor! In Kentucky we have lots of slippery rocks/boulders, ridiculous root systems, and a lot of natural springs. This boot was put to the test immediately after purchase and I was blown away by the comfort. I wouldn't recommend any other boot but this one!

Roomy, Comfortable, perfect for a Bunion on a 14er .

Yes, you read the correct title. I am a 6.5 in shoes and ordered a 6.5. They fit perfectly with PLENTY of room for my ridiculous bunion on my right foot. They felt odd when first putting them on, almost too wide or roomy, but I quickly realized how much the roomy feeling is a blessing for me and my feet. In fact, I was able to climb my first 14er in Canyon City, CO (Mt. Princeton, see image below) WITH these shoes! They were comfortable for me during the hike, super supportive around my ankles for hours of bouldering, and were indeed waterproof (as my tears of joy flowed down my face when reaching a ridgeline). The sole of the shoes are solid with little wear and tear after a week of hiking a bunch in Colorado. I absolutely would buy these again!

Room for the toes

Submitted

By Alaska Hiking

From AK

Took these boots out this past weekend for a traverse through the backcountry of Alaska. Wore them for roughly ~18 miles and had no major issues. Wore them through creek crossings, over glaciers, and up and over mountains. I have a more narrow heel and wider forefront. I always size up half a size or a full size for my outdoor shoes. My foot size is a 7.5 and I purchased a 8.5. I would recommend these boots. The hard outer toe protected my feet from the boulders I kicked and rocks that fell on my toes :) I only started experiencing some minor pain in my achilles area for the last 2-3 miles. So I just loosened/retied up the laces around those areas to give my achilles a rest.

This brand was recommended to me for sneakers (which o also love) so with a hiking trip coming up I decided to try these and it was the best decision! So comfortable! I didn't have time to break them in, but that was fine- put them on and started hiking and never had a single cut or rub like other shoes! I love the wide toe box style of Topo - that is the best part. Very cushioned- on rocky hikes I didn't feel a thing AND tiny rocks did not get stuck in the bottom.

Really love the wide toe box. I did go up another 1/2 size from the last hiking boots I had which I realized made a better fit, especially going downhill. Love the color and the fit. Wear liners and wool socks with them and they are perfect. Taking them on Maroon Bells hike soon!
